competition stud, training yard and stud livery in Lincolnshire and UKHere at BDA we are all systems go after the festivities of Christmas and New Year, the team and horses are all feeling good having spent well earned time with loved ones and friends. 2019 is going to be an exciting year for us and we want to share it with you via our new blog.  Our wonderful horses and fantastic team will be the highlight of our vlog and blog, we aim to give you an insight into life at BDA. We will show you how we back, produce and compete our horses, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Our Head Girl Coriander has been working on the horses fitness and suppleness, whilst exercising them on roads, tracks and fields we also have some stable exercises.  Our fantastic stallion 'Steve' (Zilveren Icoon BDA) and Willow BDA both have great natural movement, but this can't be taken for granted .  To enhance their movement we have created the 'Carrot & Coriander' weekly exercise program, this weeks movement is the 'Downward Dog' or rather 'downward horse', (as seen in the video below).  The exercises are designed to enhance vertebral joint range of motion, build core strength and improve flexibility. It mainly focus's on 3 movements, rounding (flexion), hollowing (extension) and side to side (lateral) bending, so if you are interested follow 'Steves' progress via our vlog.

Our Head of Maintenance 'Dad' (aka Clive Aldous) has been busy on general repairs this week, including some lorry maintenance, as you can see Kyle was giving a helping hand. Mum has been brilliant with keeping an eye on Chief Handyman 'Alfie' and keeping us all fuelled with lots of Coffee in mugs courtesy of Dodson and Horrell x
